Welcome to Play 2 Learn with Sarah!
I’m Sarah (play2learnwithsarah@gmail.com). I am a wife, mother of two young boys (3 and 5) and three WILD dogs, former teacher turned home schooler living in a suburb of Austin, TX.
As a teacher for 14 years, my mission was to encourage children to become their best selves through education. Now as a Mompreneur, I get to use my background in education to develop my own children and to help other moms expand their kids’ minds through critical thinking and the power of play.
In this blog you will find activities to use with your children/students as well as my misadventures in craftiness, cooking, updating my home and the flat out crazy antics of my kids.
You will also get to join us as we take the journey to adopt a baby girl from China. We began the process in July of 2012. If you click on Adoption Timeline you can read about how we came to the decision or look under categories for all the posts on the journey under Adoption.
